Compound Calc stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Calculation History: Your compound interest calculations, including principal amounts, interest rates, time periods, and calculation results
• Financial Goals: Your saved financial goals, including goal names, target amounts, target dates, current savings, monthly contributions, and expected returns
• App Preferences: Settings and preferences you configure within the app

Important: This data never leaves your device. We do not have access to it, and it is not transmitted to any servers or third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information stored on your device is used solely for:

• Displaying your calculation history for easy reference
• Tracking progress toward your financial goals
• Providing personalized financial projections based on your goals
• Improving your user experience within the app

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences). The app:

• Does not require internet access to function
• Does not connect to external servers
• Does not transmit data to Court Invest Limited or any third party
• Does not use tracking or analytics services
• Does not contain advertisements

Your data is protected by your device's security features, including device encryption and screen lock. We recommend using a secure lock screen to protect your financial information.

4. Data Backup and Restore

If you enable Android's backup feature on your device, your calculation history and financial goals may be backed up to your Google Account. This backup is:

• Encrypted by Google
• Only accessible to you
• Used to restore your data if you reinstall the app or switch devices
• Controlled by your Google Account settings, not by us

You can disable this feature in your device's Android backup settings if you prefer not to use it.

5. Your Data Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is always accessible within the app
• Modify: You can edit or update your calculations and goals at any time
• Delete: You can delete individual calculations, goals, or all data by:
  • Deleting individual items within the app, or
  • Clearing the app's data in your device settings, or
  • Uninstalling the app
• Export: Currently, there is no export feature, but this may be added in future updates

6. Third-Party Services

Compound Calc does not use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics or crash reporting services
• No advertising networks
• No social media integration
• No cloud storage services
• No external APIs or web services

The only exception is Android's built-in backup service (if you enable it), which is provided by Google and governed by Google's privacy policy.

7. Children's Privacy

Compound Calc is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any users, as all data remains on the device. Parents and guardians can supervise their children's use of the app to ensure appropriate financial education.

8. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone because:

• We do not collect your data on our servers
• All data remains on your device
• We have no access to your calculations or goals

The only circumstance where data might be shared is if required by law, but since we don't have access to your data, we would not be able to comply with such requests.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Posting the updated policy on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Notifying you within the app (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the app after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

10. No Financial Advice Disclaimer

Compound Calc is a calculation tool and does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. All calculations and projections are for informational and educational purposes only. Please consult with qualified financial advisors for personalized financial advice.

11. International Users

Compound Calc is operated by Court Invest Limited, based in New Zealand. If you use the app from outside New Zealand, please be aware that your data (which remains on your device) may be subject to your local jurisdiction's data protection laws.

12. Consent

By downloading and using Compound Calc, you consent to this Privacy Policy and the local storage of your calculation data and financial goals on your device.
